My Alaina turned 12 yesterday. Milestone - sad-stone for an old man like me. She's not so little anymore. She's got 12 years of cute-ness, puppy dog eyes, and daddy manipulation under her belt. Oh joy!
I think I'm about as done as I'm gonna get with the songs for the cd. It's not perfect, but it's as good as a recording as I can make - with the equipment and time I have. Anyway, it's only intended as a tool to help other churches and worship leaders who are looking for new songs.
Very soon, I'll have a link up that others can hear a demo of the songs.

Had a great labor day with labor-less activity - other than eating - which was kind of laborious - mainly because it takes work to maintain my 34 inch waist - don't be jealous.
Also a part of my labor day weekend events was working concession at the auburn game - a fundraiser for the church.
Had to park a mile away - which means walking a mile to the stadium. My body is not made for walking that far. I passed two dozen beer pong parties on the way and a haze of cigar smoke. Auburn, you make me proud to be an Alabama fan.
I know, all of you Alabama haters, there are partiers in Tuscaloosa too - but it's the silly orange color that makes the mile walking, beer pong, and cigar smoke more aggravating. But it's all for a better cause - so we power through!
